Birtavarre is the easiest gate to Halti and more. (Haltitunturi /Ráisduottarháldi -trail from Birtavarre. Summer road up to 800m.) From Birtavarre you can take daytrips to Halti.

Halti is a mountain located in the northern region of Scandinavia, straddling the border between Norway and Finland.
